Terry & I drove to Mt Perry on Saturday and camped on saturday night. A few of the bundy boys were there as well as Mad mike who runs the Mt Perry Cup. He drives up from Warwick the odd weekend & school holidays to do track building. He invited us up there for a ride weekend.
Was a really great adventure weekend. Great dry weather, warm and full moon on sat night. Could have night ridden without lights. Saturday we mostly riding around the track & properety. Had a meal at the pub with a few beers around the campfire on sat nite. All the showers & toilets were open at the Wolca reserve for us to use. About 8 of us all up camped. Sunday they took us for a ride on the national trail for about 50k. Rode through a disused rail tunnel 400m long with resident bats. Was very eerie and exilerating. We stopped at a winery for a bbq lunch, then a short 10k road ride back. Came home on sunday nite. Wish we stayed until Monday arvo. Next year I'm staying the full 4 days. So relaxing. No phone coverage except for telstra.
