The unofficial center of mountain biking on the sunshine coast. Parklands established itself as a knarly rocky testing series of management tracks  in the early days that was frequented by motorbikes, logged and a bit of a dumping ground for lazy sons of bitches that couldnt be bothered taking their crap to the tip.

These days, Parklands is alive and well and extremely popular. Its a tough series of tracks that snake and wind through the ups and downs of the 30 odd hectares of state forestry. It extends from Atkinson Rd West right over to the Bruce Highway towards Yandina.

Tracks include Snake Palm, New Zealand, Rockodile, RocknRoll, Road Rage,T Track, The Meadows, Chairlift, to name a few.

These tracks like most tracks in the SEQ region are not "official" tracks. I just know they are there. What is there is sustainable and well worn by the hundreds of riders that frequent parklands each week. This is an area that all Mountain bikers need to preserve for the future so if you venture out into Parklands, please ride responsible and avoid riding in muddy conditions.
