22nd August,Glasshouse mtns, meet Matthews Flinders pk rest area on Steve Irwin way,7.30am grade 3,
29th August,Pomona to Cooran and return meet at park opp shops 7.30am doing Cooroora trail 5 then return to trail 7 @ 8 part of the 12 hr race.
5th Sept Mapleton social ride meet lily ponds 7.30 am. 2 groups easy and hard
12th Sept, Yandina to Pt Glorious meet Yandina bmx trk 7am. or Cooloolabin dam to Pt Glorious and return. Meet 1st gate past dam 8am, meet with others from yandina bmx trk.
19th Sept Rainbow bch rd carpk to Boreen pt meet carpk 745am ride away 8am sharp, as this a long ride leaving on time is a must. we will be leaving cars at Boreen pt and car pooling to the start. meet at Boreen pt pub 6am.
26th Sept, Parklands, meet carpark Highway side 7am. Boonah marthon is on also.
3rd Oct, Mapleton social ride Meet Lily ponds 7.30am.
 
Next trail care day is 9th Oct, meeting Atkinson rd 12pm,working on Red track. All welcome

Ride Gradings :

Grade 1: Fairly flat, wide and smooth track or gravel road. Suitable for all first-time riders/family.

Grade 2: Gentle climbs and easily avoidable obstacles. You couldn't ride it in your sleep, but most beginners will still enjoy 1-2 hours

Grade 3: Challenging riding with steeper slopes and obstacles, possibly on a narrow track with poor traction. Requires riding experience and moderate fitness.2-3 hours

Grade 4: A mixture of long or steep climbs, loose track surfaces, more difficult obstacles. Good fitness and bike skills req. 2-4 hours

Grade 5: Long hard climbs, steeper grades, sharp corners, some tricky obstacles. Some sections are  easier to walk. Very good fitness and bike skills required. 4 hours or more.

Ride Info :

First Sunday of each month is our Social ride where NON MEMBER  riders of ALL abilities are welcome as long as you have a bike in good working order and an approved helmet and water. We ride in all weather (within reason !!) 
 
 
 

The club is affiliated with MTBA who provides insurance cover for the club and it’s members on gazetted rides and races.
